I met Margaret Attwood ONCE. Another subject for another time. I believe she’s an extremely intelligent woman. I’m ashamed to say I have both of these books in my ‘library’ from the (greedy) start but haven’t been able to read yet. So many books; so LITTLE time..
    I SO hate this part.
Thanks for another wonderful Booknew Tuesdays, I need to savour for another time. :-)

I think she’s incredibly intelligent just from what I’ve read, but I haven’t heard very good things about people meeting her. From what I understand she’s come off a little rude to people, which is understandable because she’s crazy famous for being an author. You should write a blog about it!!

Her speech is very flat and monotone and comes off as bored and condescending. I was hurt when I first met her but after seeing interviews and realizing that’s how she sounded all the time, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. ;-)
