It’s a good thing when authors are accessible like that. I’ve never read any of her books, but I’ve heard really good things about them.

I agree. It makes me like her even more. I think her books are a bit trivial, but they’re very popular for young adults (because they’re mostly about romantic relationships).

Yeah. I think I missed that whole young adult phase of reading. My parents never censored what I read, so I was reading from the adult side of the library when I was 12 or 13. Not that you’d know it from the 100+ Baby Sitters Club books on the shelf or the large number of juvenile books I own.

Aw man, Baby Sitters Club – yes yes yes. I loved those book and Sweet Valley High books after that. : ) I do own a ton of juvenile books, but like you I didn’t really read young adult in the stage when I was a “young adult.” In fact, I didn’t really read during the stage – I wasn’t into reading. I lost my passion I suppose. It’s since come back obviously – thank goodness!

I totally read Sweet Valley High. I also read this other series about four best friends and one of them moved so they wrote notes in hidden spots all over her house for the new owner to find, but I can’t remember for the life of me what the books were called or the author. They had a lot of sleepovers, if I remember right.
